Horizontal Menu Module

Having 2 brainstorms this module and the admin module listed on the other page.

Adding a nice top horizontal menu system is quite easy, but....

tying it into the rest of the system as a module can be hard. So lets come up with some ideas of how we can incorporate a nice css menu as an addon or alternative to the left menu.

or something similar that will allow for drop downs to be added from within the admin section.

the administrative part would be similar to adding blog, forum or download categories

Menu can be completely redesigned by changing CSS. However that might impact the rest of the template (as it's 100% css-based), so more changes might be needed.
If you come up with a css hack, you can add it as a template addon (see templates/template_list.php for an example).

And I think this problem cannot be resolved easily ...
