I am brainstorming a bit and want to create a admin module that will allow for easy changing of the menu titles
I know all this can be done manually which is fine as well but would make it easier for everyone later.
reason for needing this module:
instead of „Blog“ i need it to be „Tutorials“ instead of „Downloads“ I need it to be „The Goods“
I know this is small changes that are quite easy but I think down the road this will be a needed feature and having it a plug and play module / component would be great.
Few questions before i get started.
Right now there is no generic way to plug in modules / components into the admin section.
1. Are there any guidelines that need to be considered when creating a module?
2. Will there be a way in the future to be able to upload modules and install them from the Admin section? (as it stands now it wont be a module but rather just a modified version of the current script)
3. What about going 1 step farther with the module and creating it so each of the menu items has its very own css script to modify inside of the admin panel? Or the entire menu system editable with in the admin panel. (1 section for „main menu“, "Verticle top menu„, “bread crumbs" and so on)
of course some of these might have already been planned by the developers, I don't know
I welcome all feedback good or bad
thanks a million
atslash
p.s. *** Bug *** have a look at how it Diferior used the quotes „ “ „ “ up above
also when Diferior updates come out, because some of the updates are bound to be „Major“ would there be a standard way to keep the modules created still working without having to go back and tweak each module created for each release of Diferior?

Well, I plan to push out proper module support for Diferior as soon as possible. However, at the moment I am pretty busy. If all goes well, you should see another major update by the end of the summer.
Also, you can change menu names by editing language files.
