First off, let me say, I love what you have done. It's so much more streamlined and easy to use than most other blogging packages I have used. Admittedly, it's not so fully featured, but, that's a good thing.
However, a few suggestions:
1) Ad integration - All good blogging/CMS has advert integration. We all love money!
2) The ability to add our own panels to the side bar over there <<==== That would be cool, so we could add „editors choice“ links and so on.
3) Put the „new thread“ button in the forum at the top. Also, an „all unread posts“, like phpbb would be real cool...
4) The ability to hide the e-mail address (or, better still, don't show the address at all) on the contact form.
5) The ability to edit the site rules and things like that, or, at least, tell me where they are so I can find them easily and do it manually. I am talking about things like http://www.your-site.com/?upload_rules.html and so on. I want to change them...Integration into the admin panel for a to-do, just, tell me where they are for now!
As I say, it's an awesome system...just a few bright ideas!
Also, when is your next release planned for? I'm not pestering I'm just curious!

1, 2 and 3 can be fixed easily by editing the template. Diferior completely separates program's logic from visual output, so if you know some HTML/CSS, check files in `templates` folder.
E-mail address displayed in contact form is logged in user's. There's no point in hiding it from user himself.
You can edit all language strings by altering files in 'languages' directory.
I'm not sure about the next release yet. It's either going to be soon, but only to fix bugs found in 8.03 or deeper in the summer, but it will bring some significant new features.
Thanks for the quick reply, it's nice to have a dev who cares and listens to other people...If I wasn't a broke student, I would give you a donation Unfortunately, trying to live in centeral London on £45 a week is not easy
Thanks for the pointers though.
Have you ever thought of putting together a documentation section to help users?

As I was doing some hunting of my own last night I happened to stumble upon the section you would want to edit. It's located in templates\skio\index.tpl.php. More specifically lines

You would probably be able to sneak in a <div></div> in there someplace methinks.

You would probably be able to sneak in a <div></div> in there someplace methinks. Precisely. However you will have to check tpl_resources/skio/style/style.css and see what CSS I applied to inner menu elements and replicate similar settings on your div, so it positions nicely. It's easier than it sounds

Have you ever thought of putting together a documentation section to help users? Yes, actually. I'm aware that it needs to be done. Diferior has a very sophisticated and easily extensible system, however most developers just look at the code, shrug and run back to easier to read *nuke CMSes.
However I'm not that good in writing stuff, especially since I'm not a native english speaker. If anybody wants to help me out with that, my contact details are in my profile.
