I can't give any specific dates, it all depends on user demand and my spare time. If all goes as planned, private messages will be in the next beta.

I don't know about forum subscriptions, I actually had no plans to implement such functionality in the near time, but I will look into it. Just don't expect it in the next release.

I have myself written such a function for another type of forum, so if you wan't you can have a look at my code. It ain't pretty, but it's simple and easy to understand. Give me a hint @ kokarn@gmail.com and i'll send it straight away.
